We are currently looking for a suitable candidate for our client in the banking sector with the following qualifications and skills: Desired Skills and Experience:  Graduate from a Top Management Institution (IIM, XLRI, ISB, Ivy League or equivalent) or have a Masters degree from a top institution with a strong academic background  15+ years of Management Consulting, Strategy or Industry Experience  Prior experience in model development in retail lending is preferred Relevant experience in analytics specifically in the fields like Credit Risk Modelling & Basel, Loss Forecasting / Reserving, Risk Strategy, Marketing analytics etc. Prior exposure to stress testing and/or impairment reserves. Strong understanding of consumer lending products like Credit Cards, Mortgages, Personal Loans, Overdraft, Auto Loans and Line of credit Excellent communication skills with technical (the team) and non-technical (senior management in region) counterparts; being able to "translate" between the two worlds is essential Strong analytical skills with an ability to grasp new concepts quickly Job Responsibilities: Collaborate with Group functions, Regional teams to ensure effective working relationships which deploy solutions to a prioritized set of challenges Leadership (not just management) of team of 100+ risk management professionals, including senior (VP) level staff directing the sub-functional teams, ensuring high level of employee engagement and motivation Lead the day-to-day activities involved in the analytic processes in these areas to ensure high quality and timely results, for key stakeholders both within and external to the Risk function.  A particularly critical Run the Bank activity is leading the delivery of the PRA Concurrent Stress Test and the monthly IFRS9 results Build a culture of continuous improvement across the department with the active support and buy-in of key stakeholders in supporting the delivery of Group Strategy or change programmes Assign tasks and roles effectively across the department to ensure optimal focus and maximum productive utilization of resources
